Approach and anchoring
Approach from the north of the Pertuis d'Antioche with Fort Boyard to the east. Sand bottom, good holding. Protection from W, NW and SW. Exposed to E and SE. Watch for tidal streams running N-S across the pertuis on the rising and ebbing tide.
Practical
Forain anchorage, no services. Boyardville harbour 0.6 NM to SW for water, fuel and provisions. Chenal de la Perrotine lock entry 1.1 NM to SW opens around HW +/- 2h.
Ashore
Boyardville village 0.6 NM with boulangerie, épicerie and cafés by the quay. Forêt domaniale des Saumonards sand track starts behind the beach and runs 4 km north to Plage des Saumonards and views of Fort Boyard.
