Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the SE on sand between 5 and 10 metres, keeping clear of the rocks close under the cliffs on both sides of the cove. Sheltered from the N, NE, NW and W by the Cap Brun massif, exposed to the E and SE where the swell enters head on.
Practical
No services on the anchorage. Port Saint-Louis du Mourillon 1.6 nm to the W for water, diesel and a small shopping street. Toulon Darse Nord 1.9 nm to the W for a larger marina, fuel and all shops of the city centre.
Ashore
The Sentier du littoral runs along the top of Cap Brun and links the anse to the Batterie du Cap Brun, a 19th century coastal battery, 600 m to the W. Plage de Méjan, a small sand and pebble beach, sits at the head of the cove.
