Approach and anchoring
Enter the rade de Brest through the goulet, then head south-east to the cove. Drop on mud, good holding. Shelter is on the northern sector, exposure remains to the south-west. Rostiviec 3,4 NM to the east, Brest 3,5 NM to the north.

Small oyster-farming cove with landing slip. Coastal path around the south shore of the rade de Brest links the hamlets of Plougastel-Daoulas peninsula.
History
The rade de Brest has been a French naval anchorage since Richelieu established the arsenal in 1631. Plougastel-Daoulas peninsula, which frames the cove, is known for its strawberry crop grown on the schist slopes since the 18th century.
