Approach and anchoring
Approach by day. Mixed sand and rock bottom, holding varies; drop in sand patches between 3 and 6 m. Shelter from N, NE and E winds, open to the south-west swell. The coast is steep with a few drying rocks close in.
Practical
Port Aux Moines 1 nm south-east offers moorings. Chantier naval du Lindin 2,4 nm north-east for haul-out and repairs.
Ashore
The GR340 coastal path crosses the cliffs above the anchorage and links the south coast of Belle-Île from Le Palais to Bangor. Fort Sarah-Bernhardt, the actress' former home on the Pointe des Poulains, lies 12 km north-west by road.
