Guide
Approach and anchoring
Anchor in 4 to 7 m on sand, with good holding. Boats can lie close to the seawall. Buoys mark off a private beach. The roadstead is open to the south. Swell is almost always present, and boats roll even in calm weather. With a little sea one anchor ploughed about 10 m in two hours in 2022.
Practical
Dinghies can lie at the sailing school slipway in the south-west corner of the marina. Others are left next to the rental company at the end of the harbour. A slip in the north-east corner of the marina also takes dinghies. Lifts climb to the top of the town. A self-service laundry is about half a mile from the marina. The house of the clown Grock stands on the heights of Imperia.
