Approach and anchoring
Sand at 5 to 8 m just outside Marina degli Aregai, with good holding. An anchor held in 25 kn with a small swell in July 2024. A swell can set in with winds above 15 kn. The anchorage rolled hard in an almost flat sea in August 2020. In August 2024 wash from boats entering the marina kept it rolling until evening.
Practical
Dinghies can land in Marina degli Aregai, with its services close at hand. Inside, berthing is stern-to, and the harbour was sheltered from gusts in July 2024. A beach restaurant stands near the anchorage. In summer boats from the marina can crowd the anchorage for swimming.
