Approach and anchoring

The entrance is narrow and boats cross it in all directions. Day-trip boats come and go mostly in the mornings and evenings. The fuel berth is at the entrance. In 2023 boats were served in order of arrival and could be asked to wait outside until waved in. Many crews anchor off the harbour, where sand clear of posidonia is hard to find. In 2025 the outer harbour had five free mooring buoys. Westerly gusts of 50 kn reached inside the harbour in March 2023.

Practical

Visitor berths are scarce from June to September, and boats were turned away as late as October 2025. In 2022 a day berth just inside, by the slipway, was let from 11:00 to 16:00. It cost 50 euros with water, power and rubbish. Filling with water was quoted at 70 euros in 2025. The phone often goes unanswered. In July 2026 the office replied on VHF 9 and marina boatmen helped with berthing. Toilets by the harbour charge a fee. Two supermarkets are close by.
