Guide

Approach and anchoring

Approach from the south across the bay of Les Lecques, clear water. Entrance marked by red and green lights at the two jetty heads. Maximum draught 5 m. Bay exposed to southerly winds, swell can make entry uncomfortable in fresh conditions. VHF channel 9.

Practical

432 berths on pontoons with water and shore power, with berthing assistance on arrival. Harbour office open year-round, reservation by phone in the morning. Sanitary blocks are clean but poorly ventilated. Restaurants, bars and small shops line the seafront promenade within 200 m; a shuttle bus runs to the supermarket further inland.

Ashore

Sandy beach of Les Lecques extends 2 km along the bay, accessible directly from the port. Gallo-Roman villa site at Tauroentum, 800 m west on the Madrague road, with a small museum on the Roman presence in the bay.
