Guide
Approach and anchoring
Sand bottom, good holding. Shelter from NW through N and NE to E and SE, plus W: only S and SW quadrants are open. A few mooring buoys are laid off the mole and a current runs through, so watch the swinging room and keep clear of boats already moored. Boats may lie alongside the breakwater, but the sailing school and local fishermen use it heavily. Water point ashore. Port du Piégu lies 0.1 NM N for dinghy landing, Port de Dahouët 1.3 NM S as a tidal refuge.
Practical
Water tap on the mole. No other services at the mooring itself: fuel, provisioning and sanitary facilities are found in Pléneuf-Val-André village or at Port de Dahouët 1.3 NM S.
