Approach and anchoring
Approach with care, the bottom alternates sand and rock, so check the anchor is set on clear sand. The best holding is on the sand to the east-north-east of the beach, and a tripping line is advisable over the rock. Landing on the islet is now forbidden, only anchoring is allowed. Shelter from W and SW, exposed to the strong tidal currents that run through the gulf on the flood and the ebb.
Practical
No services on the islet. Port de Saint-Gildas 2.2 NM to the north and Port de l'Argol 3.9 NM to the east are the nearest harbours.
