Guide
Approach and anchoring
Max draught 1 m. The halte lies just above the old lock, which is worked by hand to lock down into the basin. It is shallow: boats drawing over 1 m stir silt and there are large stones on the bottom near the banks. Finger pontoons. Air draught limited by the tunnel sous la Citadelle.
Practical
5 berths on finger pontoons. Staff greet arrivals at the dock and check them in. Showers and toilets are clean with warm water, single occupancy. A small café overlooks the canal. Grocery shops and the old town of Besançon are a short walk along the towpath.
