Approach and anchoring
Approach from the west, clear of the rocky headlands. Bottom is sand with good holding when clear of the posidonia patches, in about 3 to 7 metres. Sheltered from NE, E and SE, open to the west and exposed to the libeccio; a west swell can set in and make it untenable, and a stern anchor helps hold the bow to it. Forain anchoring only.
Practical
No services at the anchorage. Cargese 3.1 NM S has a small marina, water, fuel and village shops. Port de Sagone 6.2 NM SE for fuller provisioning.
Ashore
A small sand beach backs the cove, with an old wreck lying just off it that makes for good snorkelling. A footpath climbs to a Genoese watchtower on the headland. There are no houses or facilities ashore.
