Guide
Approach and anchoring
Enter the Hérault from the sea through Le Grau d'Agde. Maximum draught 0.9 m on the club pontoons, suitable for shallow-keel boats and motor cruisers. Current can run noticeably in the river mouth. The access channel is busy with passenger and tourist boats by day and settles at night. Fuel pontoon available on site.
Practical
Club-managed berths with fuel station on site. Water and electricity on pontoons. Visitor capacity is limited, book through the harbour master's office; a deeper Yacht Club pontoon at around 2 m is reported for larger boats, to be confirmed with the office. Cap d'Agde marina 0.2 NM north-east offers 3 000 berths and full boatyard services if depth is an issue.
