Approach and anchoring

Approach from the south, no hazards in the approach. In season a line of buoys usually closes off the head of the cove, and the sand lies inside that forbidden zone, leaving only a narrow strip of posidonia in shallow water where anchoring is allowed, the buoys are often removed out of season. Where it can be reached, anchor on sand in 3 to 5 m. Protected from NW through W to SW by the coast, exposed to easterly and southeasterly winds, with swell entering quickly on an onshore breeze.

No services on the anchorage. Nearest fuel and water at Port Ferréol, 0.4 NM north, or San Peïre Les Issambres, 1.5 NM SW.

Ashore

Coastal footpath along the Corniche des Issambres links the cove to Port Ferréol in 10 minutes on foot. Sandy beach at the head of the cove. Shops and restaurants along the N98 coastal road at 400 m.
