Guide
Approach and anchoring
Enter the Golfe de Sant'Amanza from the south between Punta di Sperone and the Capu Biancu headland. Cala di Zeri opens on the western shore. Clear approach, depths of 4 to 8 metres over sand. Well sheltered from westerly winds, holding is generally good but can give way if a NW or NE breeze gets up in the morning, so set the anchor firmly. Busy through the day with charter catamarans and tourist boats looping through, it thins to a handful of boats by evening.
Practical
Anchoring on sand, no infrastructure beyond a small jetty for tenders. Landing is allowed on the beach only and not beyond, and fishing and spearfishing are prohibited. Protected from S through W to NW, exposed to the E. Port de Sant'Amanza 3 NM NW for water and basic supplies, Bonifacio 4.9 NM W.
