Approach and anchoring

The harbour lies among the granite reefs of the Bouches de Bonifacio, and careful pilotage is needed through the shoals. Follow the marks through the rocks at the entrance. A large rock inside the harbour was marked only by a small buoy in 2021. The berths are open to W and S winds. Marina boatmen assist berthing, also from a dinghy. VHF channel 9.

Practical

A small grocery overlooks the old port, a couple of minutes north of the marina, at high prices. The restaurant next door served pizza for about 20 euros in 2025. Golf buggies can be hired at the hotel, as the tracks are rough. Mobile signal and wifi were weak in 2025. In August 2025 shore power failed overnight and the only number went unanswered. In October 2024 calls went unanswered and visiting boats did not appear to be accepted.

Ashore

Small beaches lie a short walk from the port and stay almost empty even in season. La Ferme restaurant is in the north-west corner of the island, and the Hôtel des Pêcheurs serves dinner and aperitifs. Tracks cross the island for walking or cycling.
