Guide

Approach and anchoring

Moor on a mooring buoy. VHF channel 74. The steel buoys carry two long bow lines. A sub-surface float eases the pull on the chain. Marina boatmen help secure, and they added lines when the wind rose in 2025. The field covers much of the former sand anchorage. In July 2026 anchored boats were moved off for lying within 100 m of the field. Anchors held well in the sand in 2025, with shelter from north-westerlies.

Practical

20 buoys, draught up to 6 metres. Prices varied between requests in 2025 and 2026. A 45-foot yacht paid 60 euros on 21 June 2025. A 13.7 m yacht was quoted 180 euros by message in August 2025, then 200 euros on arrival. In 2025 payment was taken from the tender. The boatmen run a dinghy shuttle and keep a pontoon for tenders, with a water hose. Toilets and showers were minimal in 2024.

Ashore

Golfo Aranci has a Monday market and a fish market selling fresh fish and lobster. Dolce Gallura sells fresh pasta. Two large sandy beaches lie nearby and were crowded in August 2025. A small car hire office stands on the way to the pier.
