Small harbour on the north-east coast of Sardinia, near the Olbia ferry routes, with about 30 berths and a fuel berth. Maximum draught 4 metres. VHF 9.

Approach and anchoring

Southerly winds can send swell into the harbour, as in 2019. In 2018 a 25 kn north-westerly found no shelter here. In 2017 a boat on the outer side of the west pontoon moved heavily in a 25 kn north-westerly. Diesel is sold at the pump on the large concrete quay outside the harbour, which was open on a Saturday morning in August 2019.

Practical

Few berths, and a free one is rare in July and August. VHF calls went unanswered in 2019. The harbour phone is +39 0789 563644. In August 2025 no water could be had over four days. In December 2020 everything was closed and visitors were sent to anchor. In 2020 crews anchored off left the dinghy at the pier free of charge.

Ashore

Four beaches near the town go by the names Prima, Seconda, Terza and Quarta Spiaggia, each with its own services. Shops are close to the harbour.
