Approach and anchoring

Lies on the east bank of the Intracoastal Waterway just south of the bascule bridge. Approach depths to the fuel and transient docks average over 15ft at mean low water. The marina monitors VHF 16 and works VHF 9; reservations on 910 256-6666.

Practical

Fuel berth open 0700 to 1700 with diesel and 93-octane petrol. A heavy-duty outer dock takes transients of 100ft and over, with separate restaurant dockage. Shore power, water, cable, internet and mechanical repairs on site; a swimming pool is open to transient crews.

Ashore

The two-storey Bluewater Waterfront Grill overlooks the docks and serves seafood and prime rib. Wrightsville Beach itself, on the Atlantic side of the island, is a short walk or ride away.
