Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Atlantic through Masonboro Inlet, then north into Banks Channel, or from the Intracoastal Waterway near mile 283. Strong tidal streams run through the channel and the area is a no-wake zone. Set the anchor with care on the sand bottom.

Seapath Yacht Club lies 0.6 mile north on Motts Channel, with berths, a fuel berth carrying diesel and petrol, showers and laundry. Atlantic Marine is 0.9 mile north-west.
Ashore
Wrightsville Beach village and its Atlantic surf beach are within walking distance, with shops and restaurants close to the marinas.
