Guide
Approach and anchoring
The shore is rock, so anchoring holds poorly. Two docks take 16 boats for day or overnight stays, the better option here. The Thousand Island Park Marina lies 3.4 nm to the south for a sheltered berth.
Practical
Facilities are limited to a comfort station with toilets. There is no fuel, water or shore power. Provisions must be carried aboard.
Ashore
The 6-acre park has picnic tables, a century-old gazebo and shoreline fishing. It is reachable only by water, with no road access.
History
The site was set aside in 1898 as part of the Saint Lawrence Reservation, one of the earliest state-protected stretches of the Thousand Islands.
