Approach and anchoring
Enter the Aber Benoît from the west, following the buoyed channel past Le Rusven and the Roc'h Avel cardinal. The port dries at low water, approach on a rising tide. Shelter from all quarters once inside the aber. Saint-Pabu lies 0.5 NM SE on the opposite bank, Chantier des Abers 0.8 NM SE.
Practical
Mooring on fore-and-aft lines or on the drying quay. Bilge keels and lifting keels best suited. No fuel berth at Vill itself, nearest diesel at L'Aber-Wrac'h. Bakery and small grocery in Landéda village 1.5 km away.
Ashore
GR34 coastal path runs past the harbour towards the dunes of Sainte-Marguerite and Île Cézon, a 16th-century fort-island. Beaches of Tréompan and Saint-Antoine accessible within 2 km. Oyster tasting cabins on the aber shore.
