Small marina at Surf City on Topsail Island, North Carolina, two blocks from the ocean beach and a few hundred metres off the Atlantic ICW.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Lies just north of the Surf City Bridge, past ICW mile 69. A marked channel about 2.4 metres deep leads in from the main waterway. The old swing bridge was replaced in 2018 by a fixed high-rise span with 20 metres of clearance, so transiting yachts no longer wait for an opening.
Practical
Fifteen berths on floating pontoons. The 24-metre fuel berth sells ethanol-free petrol and diesel and handles pump-out, open 0800 to 1730 Tuesday to Sunday. Long-term berthing only as of recent seasons, with no transient berths, so call ahead on 910 650-3223. Surf City shops and restaurants are within walking distance.
