Approach and anchoring
On the Dania Cut-Off Canal just south of Fort Lauderdale airport, with a run out to the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic. Fixed bridges on the route restrict air draught.
Practical
Indoor dry storage and on-trailer storage for vessels up to 44 ft, with fixed-bridge limits on the launch route. The yard handles engine repair, fibreglass work and bottom painting. Ethanol-free petrol, restrooms and showers, and work racks are available. Each launch includes a rinse-down, and retrieval includes a bottom rinse and engine flush.
Ashore
Nautical Ventures Marina and Lauderdale Small Boat Club both lie 0.8 nm to the north-west along the canal. Old Griffin Road carries chandlers and marine trades.
