Approach and anchoring
Tucked into Spooners Creek on the north shore of Bogue Sound, off the Intracoastal Waterway at mile 210. Approach and dockside depths are about 6 and 8 feet. Transient berths are limited so call ahead. Office on 252 726-2060.
Practical
Floating docks take boats from 40 to 60 feet, with private water, shore power and cable hookups. There are petrol and diesel docks, a fish cleaning station, showers and laundry. Berths run monthly, semi-annual and annual, with a few transient nights. Large shopping centres are nearby.
