Approach and anchoring

Located on the Oak Harbor waterway near the foot of the Twin Span bridge over Lake Pontchartrain, with a short run out to the open lake. Berthing is for members and reciprocal Gulf Yachting Association clubs.

History

The club was founded in 1980 on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain and moved to its Oak Harbor site in 1990. It joined the Gulf Yachting Association within its first year, building reciprocal links with clubs from Florida to Texas.
