Approach and anchoring
Sits at the base of the Interstate 10 Twin Span bridge over the eastern end of Lake Pontchartrain, giving a short run out to open water. New Orleans and the French Quarter are about 30 minutes away by road.
Practical
Three fixed docks with berths for boats up to 20 ft beam and 55 ft or more, plus three T-head berths for vessels of 110 ft and over. Each berth has water, cable and 30 amp or 50 amp shore power, with 50 ft finger piers both sides. Men's and women's bathhouse, laundry, ice machine, gated docks and parking. Liveaboards and pets accepted. Phone 985 641-1044.
Ashore
A yacht club and restaurant operate on site. Downtown Slidell lies about 5 miles away for shops and services.
