Approach and anchoring
Approached from Commencement Bay in the southern reach of Puget Sound. The club basin lies between Breakwater Marina just to the south-east and Point Defiance Marina to the north-west.
Practical
Reciprocal moorage for visiting members of affiliated clubs. Clubhouse with a restaurant and an active sailing programme. Point Defiance Park and the ferry terminal are within walking distance.
History
Established in 1889, the club is one of the oldest on Puget Sound and has long hosted the Daffodil Marine Parade tied to Tacoma's spring festival.
