Full-service marina on Commencement Bay in Tacoma, just east of Point Defiance Park and the Vashon ferry terminal, next to Tacoma Yacht Club.

Approach and anchoring

Direct access from Commencement Bay, no tidal constraint. Outer transient berths from 35 to 52 ft sit along the breakwater. Smaller boats from 24 to 35 ft turn to starboard between the breakwater and the boathouse to reach the inner channel.

Practical

Permanent and overnight visitor berths. Service and repair department on site. Yacht brokerage and chandlery with parts, supplies and a few food items. Phone +1 253 752 6663.

Ashore

Point Defiance Park is 500 m west, with the zoo, aquarium and Fort Nisqually museum. The Ruston Way waterfront walk runs east from the park back towards downtown Tacoma.
