Guide

Approach and anchoring

Reach the bay from Lake Ontario through the seasonal outlet channel, open from 1 April to 31 October when the Irondequoit Bay Outlet Bridge is swung clear. Sutter's sits near the south end of the bay.

Practical

Fuel berth with 90-octane ethanol-free petrol and a pump-out station. Heads with showers, ice, snacks and drinks on site. Winter storage, shrink wrapping, bottom washes and spring and autumn services. Phone 585-342-5360.

History

Family-run on Irondequoit Bay since 1972. After repeated flooding from high Lake Ontario water levels, the main building and fuel shed were rebuilt on raised concrete slabs in 2022 under a 233,000 dollar state resiliency project.
