Approach and anchoring

Offatts Bayou runs around 20 feet deep in the middle but shoals to 1 to 3 feet on the entrance and south bank, so keep to the channel coming in. The Galveston Causeway bridge gives 76 feet of clearance.

Practical

Covered wet berths with boat lifts and open-air dry storage on concrete. Fuel berth with petrol and diesel, pump-out, private launch ramp with washdown hoses and three fish-cleaning tables. Coded security gate, lighting, restrooms. Transient berths available.
