Municipal harbour of 132 berths on the St Clair River, at the mouth of the Pine River in south-east Michigan.

Approach and anchoring

Entry from the St Clair River into the Pine River, then upstream under the M-29 Riverside Avenue bridge to the harbour basin. Slow no-wake speed enforced on the Pine River within the city limits. Heavy commercial shipping traffic on the St Clair River itself, plan crossings carefully.

Practical

132 floating wooden berths including 60 transient berths, open 1 April to 15 October. Dock attendants on site. Fuel berth with ethanol-free petrol and diesel, pump-out, basic chandlery, fish-cleaning station, launch ramp, and a kayak ramp. Reservations on 810-329-4125.

Ashore

Wooden boardwalk along the river leads into town. Restaurants and shops within a short walk of the harbour. St Clair Inn and riverside park on the waterfront.
