Full-service marina on Swan Creek at Fair Haven, Michigan, opening onto Anchor Bay on Lake St. Clair.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Reached up Swan Creek with no bridges between the berths and Anchor Bay, so air draught is unrestricted. The creek is shallow, suiting power and fishing boats rather than deep-keeled yachts.
Practical
164 berths including 10 for visitors, taking boats up to 50 ft and covered wells to 38 ft. Fuel berth supplies petrol and diesel. Free pump-out, two sets of heads with showers, and a heated swimming pool ashore.
History
Terry's Marina was opened in 1978 by Terry and Sharon Houska. A 1992 refit added a storage building, new docks and the fuel berth.
