Approach and anchoring
Approach off the Patuxent River into the natural harbour at Solomons. Fixed docks with around 9 ft alongside and deep water in the approach. Transient berths can be arranged in advance with the harbour master on 410 734-2430.
Practical
Some 24 berths, with visitor space for boats up to 100 ft. Shore power at 30 and 50 amp, fresh water on the docks. As a private club, transient stays should be booked ahead.
Ashore
Solomons town centre is within walking distance, with shops and seafood restaurants along the waterfront. The Calvert Marine Museum sits at the village edge, with the Drum Point Lighthouse and bugeye Wm B. Tennison.
