Approach and anchoring
Reached through Snake Creek, the navigable cut linking the Atlantic Ocean and Florida Bay below the Snake Creek drawbridge. The marina sits on the bayside, giving access to both waters. Deep-water berths suit ocean and bay craft.
Practical
About 40 berths and a deep-water fuel berth, said to be the largest in Islamorada. A ship store carries live and frozen bait, ice, tackle and provisions. Restaurant and tiki bar on site. The marina is part of a wider redevelopment into the Islamorada Yacht Club.
Ashore
Smugglers Cove Restaurant and Bar and the Buoy Bar tiki bar are on the property. The Overseas Highway runs alongside, with shops and dining along Mile Marker 85.
