Approach and anchoring
Entered directly off the Intracoastal Waterway on Skull Creek, which carries deep water throughout. Berthing is on concrete floating pontoons that handle vessels up to about 40 metres. Maximum draught of 3 metres. Port Royal Sound and the open Atlantic lie a short run to the north. Call ahead on VHF 10.
Practical
Around 80 berths plus a fuel berth selling petrol and diesel. Pump-out, fresh water and shore power on the pontoons. Certified under the South Carolina Clean Marina programme. Operated by Safe Harbor since 2019.
Ashore
Several waterfront restaurants sit at the marina itself. Coligny Beach is about 16 km south by road, and the shops of Harbour Town a similar distance down the island.
