Guide
Approach and anchoring
Enter the South River and round Turkey Point Island to the north at flashing red 6, then steer for flashing red 2 south of Long Point. Channel depths run from 8 to 11 feet. Water shoals near the wetlands at the head of the bay. The mud bottom gives good holding but the anchorage is open to the north-west.
Practical
Selby Bay Marina lies 0.3 mile south-west and has metered shore power, a fuel berth with diesel and petrol, pump-out and a full repair yard. Holiday Point Marina is 0.5 mile to the south.
