Approach and anchoring

Sandusky Bay is very shallow, so keep to the marked shipping channels on approach and sound your way carefully towards the anchorage. The bottom is weed, which can give uncertain holding.

Fresh water available. Open to winds from N, S, SW, W and NW. Perry's Landing Marina lies 1.6 nm to the S and Bay Harbour Marina 1.7 nm to the SE, with seasonal dockage, fuel and full marine services.
