Private yacht club founded in 1895 on the south shore of Presque Isle Bay, Erie, Pennsylvania, sheltered from Lake Erie by the Presque Isle peninsula.

Approach and anchoring
Approach through the Presque Isle Bay entrance channel between the peninsula and the mainland, then along the south shore to the club basin. Bay is sheltered from open lake swell by Presque Isle.
Practical
More than 370 berths with floating finger pontoons, water and shore power. 120-foot floating fuel berth with diesel, 90-octane ethanol-free petrol and pump-out. Three-storey clubhouse with restaurant, swimming pool and tennis courts. Visiting boats are received by reciprocal arrangement with other yacht clubs.
History
George T. Bliss issued the founding circulars in September 1894 for a club open to all kinds of boats. The current site on Kahkwa Park land was secured in 1917 through Commodore Henri G. Chatain, after the Kahkwa Park Realty Company donated land west of the ravine on the south shore of Presque Isle Bay.
