Approach and anchoring
Approach from the west, no hazards offshore beyond the 5 metre line. Sand bottom, good holding. Sheltered from N, NE and E winds only, fully exposed to the prevailing W and SW swell. No refuge on site, nearest ports at Le Pont Neuf 6.3 NM to the north and Fromentine 6.7 NM to the north. VHF 72.
Practical
No services at the anchorage itself. Dinghy landing on the beach, all shops and services in the seaside town within 500 m of the shore.
Ashore
Eight kilometres of sand beach continuous to Notre-Dame-de-Monts. Vélodyssée cycle route runs parallel behind the dunes. Forêt domaniale des Pays de Monts starts at the rear of the town, pine forest with marked walking loops.
