Approach and anchoring
Enter the bay between the Sainte-Barbe digue to the north-east and the Socoa digue to the west, with the central Artha breakwater ahead. Follow the buoyed channel to the Ciboure side of the Nivelle estuary. Maximum draught 2.4 m. VHF 9.

81 berths with water and electricity. Harbour office on the Ciboure quay. Fuel available at the nearby Socoa fuel berth. Shops, bakery and restaurants in Ciboure within 300 m.
Ashore
Composer Maurice Ravel was born on the Ciboure quay in 1875, the house still stands at 27 quai Maurice Ravel, 200 m from the marina. Fort de Socoa, a 17th century Vauban-era fort, sits on the opposite side of the bay 1 km west. Saint-Jean-de-Luz town centre and the church where Louis XIV married in 1660 are 700 m across the estuary bridge.
