Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south-east along the Gulf of Fréjus. Entry between two jetties with red and green lights. The approach silts after easterly gales, draught on the entry bar has been reported at less than the posted figure. Maximum draught 1.8 m inside the basin. VHF 9.
Practical
232 berths with water and electricity. Harbour office on the quay. No fuel berth on site, nearest fuel at Port-Fréjus 2 NM north-east. Shops, bakery and restaurants in Saint-Aygulf village 300 m from the port.
Ashore
Plage de Saint-Aygulf runs 1 km south-west of the harbour, fine sand. Étangs de Villepey, a protected coastal wetland of 260 hectares with marked paths and bird observation points, lies 1 km west. Roman aqueduct remains of ancient Forum Julii visible along the road to Fréjus, 4 km north-east.
