Approach and anchoring
Reached from the GIWW near mile 70, close to the Stickney Point bascule bridge, which has 18 feet of closed clearance and opens on demand 24 hours on VHF channel 09. The channel shoals abruptly outside the marked limits, so keep to the markers and run at slow speed.
Practical
243 dry storage racks, wet slips, and a fuel berth with diesel and petrol. Ship's store with bait and tackle, onsite hull and engine repair, and boat rentals. The marina has no showers, laundry, or pumpout. Spearfish Grill is on site.
Ashore
Siesta Key Beach, regularly ranked among the top US beaches for its quartz sand, lies about 4 km west by road. Siesta Key Village with shops and restaurants sits roughly 3 km north.
