Approach and anchoring
The basin opens onto Sarasota Bay and the Intracoastal Waterway. More than 80 mooring balls lie off the marina for visiting sailing yachts.
Practical
Around 300 wet slips take vessels up to 185 feet, plus over 20 lifts. The 24-hour fuel dock supplies diesel and 90 octane petrol, with free pump-out on three sides. Transient berths include shore power, water, cable and wifi. A ship's store and four restaurants are on site.
Ashore
The marina sits in Bayfront Park. Downtown Sarasota, with shops, galleries and provisions, is a short walk away. Sightseeing cruises around Lido and Bird Key leave from the basin.
