Approach and anchoring

Reached on the Potomac just past the town of Quantico, at the end of Potomac Avenue. The pontoons are floating timber structures with finger piers.

Practical

Berths are reserved for active and retired military, DOD civilians and authorised ID card holders, with a limited number open to the public. Fuel berth with 89 octane unleaded petrol and a pump-out station. Small convenience store with ice, drinks and snacks. Boat hire runs from 15 May to 15 October.
