Approach and anchoring
Set up Aquia Creek from the Potomac, around 75 miles from Chesapeake Bay. Four paved launch ramps and a 300-space rack boathouse alongside the wet berths.
Practical
Petrol and diesel at the fuel berth, with a free pump-out station. Ships' store, air-conditioned bathhouse with showers, laundry and a fitness room. Managed by Oasis Marinas and home to a Freedom Boat Club base.
Ashore
The marina has about 700 ft of sand beach on the creek. Stafford lies inland with shops and provisions, and the Potomac waterfront opens the way upriver towards Washington.
