Approach and anchoring
Enter the natural harbour from the north between Gibraltar Island and Peach Point. Lake Erie can build a short steep sea from the NW. Hail A and C docks on VHF 69, B dock on VHF 68. First come, first served, rafting up to four deep on busy weekends.
Practical
Hundreds of linear feet of dockage with shore power and fresh water on A and C. A and C run by the Village of Put-in-Bay, B by the DeRivera Park Trust. Rates from 1.85 to 2.50 USD per foot. Restaurants, bars, grocery and bike rental within two blocks.
Ashore
Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial 400 m south of the docks, 107 m granite column commemorating the 1813 Battle of Lake Erie. South Bass Island State Park beach at 3 km. Heineman's Winery and Crystal Cave at 1.2 km inland.
