Approach and anchoring
Hold to the navigation channel marked by red and green buoys. Anchor clear of the fairway on the inside of the bend, mud bottom, 3 to 5 metres. Shelter from W, SW and S; river current runs year-round and freshets can be strong after spring rain.

No services. Halte fluviale de Saint-Vallier is 1.5 nm N with pontoon, water and basic shops. Andance river quay is 4.7 nm N.
Ashore
The ViaRhôna cycle route follows the left bank and links Saint-Vallier to Andance. Vineyards of the Saint-Joseph AOC rise on the right bank.
