Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the bay of Saint-Brieuc, passing south of the Verdelet islet bird reserve which must be given a wide berth. Drying berths, suited to bilge-keelers or boats able to take the ground. Entry limited to around high water.
Practical
Very few visitor berths, only three listed. Most traffic uses nearby Dahouët, 1.3 NM south, for afloat berthing and services. Water point on the quay. No fuel on site.
Ashore
Beach of Val-André running north from the port along about 2.5 km of sand. GR 34 coastal path climbs over the Pointe de Pléneuf towards Erquy, 3.8 NM to the north-east. Shops and restaurants of Val-André seafront within 400 m.
