Approach and anchoring
Commercial port under VTS Le Havre control on VHF 12. Pleasure craft must stay clear of the tanker approach channel and the breakwaters. The anchorage north of the terminal offers shelter from southerly winds but is exposed to north and west. Check for ZMEL restrictions before anchoring.
Practical
No facilities for leisure craft. No berth, no water, no fuel for yachts. Nearest cruising ports are Bassin Vauban at Le Havre 9.7 NM south and the Le Havre marina 10 NM south.
